Sacred Activism Salon with Dr. Vandana Shiva & David Bronner

Monday, September 25th 7-8 PM PST

*** ~ Due to unexpected scheduling conflicts, we have to reschedule this salon with the inimitable Vandana Shiva and David Bronner. We will announce the new date soon. Thank you for your interest!

What does it mean to engage in activism that is deeply informed by your spiritual life and practice? How does our work in the world meet the work of our hearts? Join ecofeminist scholar, environmental activist, and food sovereignty advocate Dr. Vandana Shiva in conversation with regenerative agriculture, fair pay, and drug policy reform advocate David Bronner to explore the potent concept of Sacred Activism and its capacity to infuse our lives with fresh energy, deeper meaning, and sustainable purpose. In the words of Andrew Harvey, “Sacred Activism is a transforming force of compassion-in-action that is born of a fusion of deep spiritual knowledge, courage, love, and passion, with wise radical action in the world.” In this salon, we have the opportunity to learn from radical changemakers who are expanding the concept of personal growth and healing to include collective healing. Together we can step outside of an individualist mindset and meet our longing for meaning and connection with tangible action in the world—led by our spirits, led by one another.
